August 2000 - First Allied Corporation has purchased the University Square shopping center. The shopping center is located at the intersection of IH-10 and DeZavala Road, and contains approximately 76,000 square feet of GLA. Lead merchants include Bassett Furniture, Gateway computers, Sprint PCS, Maytag and Washington Mutual.
