November 2002 - First Allied Corporation has entered the state of Ohio with its newest acquisition, Crosswoods Commons Shopping Center, located on Hutchinson Avenue, just northeast of the High Street and I270 interchange in Columbus.
Crosswoods Commons is a 20,000 square foot center with merchants that include BW-3, Chipolte, Stauf’s Coffee and Panera Bread. The center is surrounded by 10 hotels, is across the street from the Worthington Mall and is adjacent to the Marcus Cinemas IMAX theatre.
“Many people think that we are only interested in acquiring anchored centers. The truth is that we get just as excited about deals that are shadow anchored as we do about properties where the anchor is included,” said Edward Glazer, First Allied President.
