September 2002 - First Allied Corporation has acquired University Plaza. The shopping center is located adjacent to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (NASA) and across from Star Plaza, also owned by First Allied. University Plaza contains approximately 95,000 square feet of GLA.

University Plaza is anchored by Kroger Supermarket. Other merchants include Eckerd Drugs, Arby's, TCBY, Mail Boxes Etc. and Piccadilly Cafeteria.
